Dear Steve:

I would like to submit the following list of attorneys for consideration as special counsel in the matter of the Belleview Hotel and Resort.  In developing this list I’ve given special attention to attorneys who are highly qualified and have excellent reputations within the legal profession, especially in takings, land use law, and historic preservation.  None indicated a conflict of interest, except that Ted Taub and Robert Lincoln are still checking with other members of their firms to be sure they have no conflict.  I have explained to each the need for special counsel to give immediate attention to this matter.
